Guatemala has been growing coffee since the 1850s, and it shows in a cup like this one. Ours comes from San Marcos, high in the Guatemalan highlands — a natural-process lot kept at a light roast to hold onto the delicate side of these beans.
Cherry and strawberry up front, a tart lemon-zest lift, grapefruit-like acidity, and a syrupy body that carries it all. The one for the early-morning wake-up call.
